Gas World published coverage of the AI-controlled biomethane plant we're powering with Carbon AMS in Duleek, County Meath, Ireland. The 40 GWh per year facility, being developed by Carbon AMS, will produce renewable energy in the form of biomethane and supply it to Alexion AstraZeneca Rare Disease's pharmaceutical manufacturing sites in Dublin and Athlone, meeting 100% of the sites' heating needs under a 15-year gas supply agreement.
According to the partners, the facility is expected to be the most advanced AI-controlled industrial plant in the world. The technology stems from Carbon AMS's work with our founders and our collaboration with Siemens to deploy edge-native AI, virtual sensors, and intelligent agents purpose-built to optimize biomethane output.
